Title: Turn the Other Way
Author: Stuart James
Genre: Psychological Thriller
My Rating: 4⭐
You are driving along a road, when you get stuck in traffic behind an old transit van. Suddenly, you hear thumping coming from the back of the van. As you step out onto the road, you hear screams for help.
You open the doors to the van, and what you find chills you to the bone. There is a couple who is held captive and the lady has been brutally killed.
The van pulls off. You don’t have a phone. What would you do? Would you follow the van?
This story has several characters and it unfolds through both past and present events.
The characters have unique characteristics making them easily distinguishable.
Although none of them is very likeable yet an emotional connectivity is felt with most of them throughout the journey.
The author has adopted a simple writing style. The story has a lot of twists and turns that always keeps you on the edge in the excitement of knowing what next.
The author leaves the story on a cliffhanger paving the path for upcoming sequel. I am eagerly waiting for the release of the sequel.
Lesson learnt from the story: TRUST GIRL’S INSTINCTS.
P.S. : Thank you so much Stuart James for providing me an ARC of the book.
