Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is an interesting account of a kid, Timmy Failure and his friend, a polar bear whose name is Total.

Timmy considers himself to be a brilliant detective but is actually totally clueless. The name of his detective agency, Total Failure, pretty much sums up his detective business.

The story is written from the perspective of an eleven-year-old who like any other kid of his age doesn’t like some of his classmates, often tell lies at home and of course, hates studying and school.

I liked the story and the way it has been presented through some parts seemed boring (maybe I am a bit too old for such a book).
I liked the parts where the author has tried to make it look like a kid’s diary by adding scanned pages with scribblings, cuttings and drawings.

I would recommend it to kids who love to read.
